Jhanvi Kapoor reacts on her late mother Sridevi role replace by Madhuri Dixit in Movie Kalank

Janvhi Kapoor has been ruling the tinsel town ever since she made her debut in Dhadak. From her debut to her fashion events, she has proven in so less time that she is here to stay. Janhvi Kapoor is currently working on the untitled biopic of Gunjan Saxena, an Indian IAF officer.

Janvhi Kapoor is a spitting image of her late mother, Sridevi who passed away last year on February 24, 2018. Even though Janhvi must have grown up watching her mother's movies, she could have seen her mom in a movie, after she has become a legit actress. Wondering how? Well, in the upcoming Bollywood film, Kalank, Madhuri Dixit Nene's role was earlier offered to Sridevi. Seeing Madhuri in her mother's role in Kalank, Janhvi has now commented, "I was excited to see her in Kalank from the audience point of view. I think the teaser of ‘Kalank’ and every character’s look in the film is looking really beautiful so, I am really excited to see that film."

Janvhi Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle last year and sharing a picture of Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit, had talked about Kalank. She had captioned the picture as, "Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart ...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film."

Earlier in an interview with Vogue, Janhvi had talked about how her mother, Sridevi never wanted her to be part of the industry. She had stated, “She never wanted me to be an actress. She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense."
