Ranchi: Hearing of former CM Babulal Marandi, Pradeep Yadav, and Bandhu Tirkey in the defection case will be heard in the Speaker's Tribunal today. Notice has been issued to all the three MLAs in this regard. The hearing date in the case was fixed on January 21, but the hearing could not take place due to the assembly speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato being corona infected. The eyes of the leaders of the entire Bihar-Jharkhand have been fixed on the hearing to be held today. BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi sought a week's time to respond to the Speaker's notice. In the defections case, automatic cognizance was challenged by Babulal Marandi in the High Court. On this, the speaker told the High Court that he would not take any action in the automatic cognizance case. Later, a complaint was made on behalf of JMM MLA Bhushan Tirkey, Congress MLA Deepika Pandey Singh, former MLA Rajkumar Yadav, and Pradeep Yadav in the Speaker's Tribunal. On this basis, notice was again issued to Babulal Marandi.
