Jharkhand Man Arrested for Gruesome Murder of Live-In Partner! Shocking

In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly murdering his live-in partner, dismembering her body into 40 to 50 pieces, and leaving the remains in a forest in Jharkhand's Khunti district, police confirmed on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Naresh Bhengra, has been taken into custody.

Crime Unveiled After Two Weeks The gruesome crime came to light nearly two weeks later when a stray dog was spotted carrying human body parts near Jordag village under the Jariagarh police station area on November 24.

The victim, a 24-year-old woman from Khunti district, had been in a live-in relationship with Bhengra. The couple had been residing in Tamil Nadu for several years. However, Bhengra recently returned to Jharkhand, secretly married another woman, and later reunited with his live-in partner in Tamil Nadu without informing his new wife.

Timeline of the Brutal Incident According to Khunti Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar, the crime occurred on November 8. Bhengra, who did not want to take the victim home due to his recent marriage, devised a plan to eliminate her. Upon reaching Khunti, he lured her to a forest near his house in Jordag village.

Inspector Ashok Singh, who led the investigation, revealed that Bhengra had previously worked at a butcher shop in Tamil Nadu, where he developed expertise in cutting meat. This skill was evident in the way he dismembered the victim's body.

Detailed Confession Bhengra confessed to strangling the woman with her dupatta after sexually assaulting her. Using sharp weapons, he dismembered her body into pieces and scattered them in the forest for wild animals to consume. He then returned to his home to live with his new wife, police said.

The victim, unaware of Bhengra’s marriage, had reportedly urged him to return to Khunti to settle down. She informed her mother that she was boarding a train to live with her partner. Tragically, she was killed shortly after reaching his village.

Discovery of Evidence On November 24, police recovered several body parts along with a bag containing the woman’s belongings, including her Aadhaar card. The victim’s mother identified the items and suspected Bhengra’s involvement. Upon interrogation, he admitted to the crime.

"This horrifying act has shocked the community, and the accused has been arrested to face the law," Inspector Ashok Singh said.
