New Delhi: India's fast runner and Asian Games gold medal winner Jinson Johnson has qualified for the World Championship. He won the silver medal in the 1500 meters in the ISTAF Berlin competition and also broke his national record in the 1500 meters. Johnson finished second behind Joshua Thompson of the US with a time of three minutes 35.24 seconds at the Olympic Stadium. Johnson improved to his own national record of 3.37.62 seconds, which the Kerala runner scored in Nijmegen, Netherlands in June.
