Jitan Ram Manjhi remembers election promise, says Nitish Kumar should give 5,000 allowance to unemployed youth

Patna: In the 2020 assembly elections in Bihar, all parties had made a lot of promises to the people in the manifesto. Someone talked about providing employment, someone promised development in the state. Now former Bihar deputy CM and hum party national president Jitan Ram is beginning to remember his promises.

On Friday, Jitan Ram Manjhi tweeted that "For our unemployed youth facing financial crisis, #HAM had promised in the election manifesto that if our government was formed, they would be given unemployment allowance of Rs 5,000. I request the Chief Minister to give unemployment allowance of Rs. 5000 to unemployed youth/girls of the state'. It may be recalled that Jitan Ram Manjhi had made several promises in his manifesto in bihar assembly elections 2020. He had said that free WiFi service would be provided by the government in universities and colleges when the government is formed. A special bus service will also be introduced.

He had also promised that a new health insurance scheme would be introduced for the poor and weaker sections, a blood bank would be set up in each district as well as a super specialist hospital would be set up. People with annual income up to 1.5 lakh will be treated free of cost, work ambulances will be provided at block level. At the same time, several promises were made, including allowances to unemployed youth.
