New Delhi: The courts in the country are buried under the burden of lawsuits. Due to this, the courts are not able to hear any case expeditiously which has an effect on getting justice. This is why people avoid going to the courts. They want to stay away from the long, tedious and expensive system of courts. Speaking at a national conference, Supreme Court Judge Justice SA Bobde said that "the process of justice should be properly considered. There should be no haste or delay in the process of delivering justice. Bobde said that the concept of 'speedy justice' has been adopted in the world's worst regimes. But there should also be no delay in delivering justice".

"Nobody wants to delay in doing justice, but it takes time to do justice. This should be understood in the right contexts".
