New Delhi: Jyotiraditya Scindia can join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 12:30 pm today. It has been said that for the last few months, the Congress had ignored Jyotiraditya Scindia, due to which he was very upset with the party. After which he resigned from Congress membership on Tuesday. Along with them, 22 Congress MLAs have also resigned. Rahul Gandhi breaks silence on Jyotiraditya Scindia's resignation The political crisis in Madhya Pradesh has deepened after Jyotiraditya Scindia resigned from the Congress. Kamal Nath's government seems to be in the minority. A meeting of Congress MLAs was called on Tuesday at the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister's residence. Only 88 MLAs had arrived in this meeting and 26 MLAs did not know anything. Out of these 26 MLAs, 22 MLAs had already resigned from their posts. Congress opens pages of history while attacking Scindia There are 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, out of which two are vacant at present. Thus, at present, there are 228 MLAs in the state, out of which 114 are MLAs of Congress, 107 BJP, four Independents, two Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and one Samajwadi Party (SP).
