On Saturday, team Kabzaa launched a surprise for movie buffs when they announced the poster reveal of Kabzaa on Sunday. Film's lead Upendra was also seen sharing a picture post dropping the poster for all. Filmmaker R Chandru is set to helm an underworld period drama that's touted to be the next big pan-Indian film. The film Kabzaa starring Upendra and Kiccha Sudeep in lead roles will be released in seven languages. Besides Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malyalam, the film will also be dubbed in Oriya and Bengali. The movie set beteween 1940 and 1980 traces the rise of the underworld in India post independence and its consequences. The director will bankroll the project under his home banner, Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises. Filmmaker R Chandru says, ?With films like Baahubali and KGF, South Indian movies and production houses have made a name for themselves in the market pan-India. These films have shown the way to other filmmakers. Kabzaa, which is being made on a huge budget and grand scale, has pan-India appeal.? According to the director, though Kabzaa is still on floors, there?s already a demand for its satellite and digital rights. ?It?s great that another Kannada film is creating this kind of buzz,? he adds. The film will be presented by politician MTB Nagaraj. Music director Ravi Basrur and art director Shivakumar, who have worked in KGF, are associated with the projects. The film also boasts of a talented ensemble cast that includes a mix of South Indian and Bollywood actors, like Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Kabir Duhan Singh, Danish Akhtar Saifi and Pradeep Rawat.
