The movie, titled Bimbisara, stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as a barbarian king while Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon will be seen playing the female leads. Kalyan Ram is seen as this ferocious king who is ruthless. The first glimpse of Bimbisara was also released along with the title announcement. Kalyan Ram sports a powerful get-up holding a sword in never seen before avatar. Sitting on a cluster of dead bodies, his makeover is extraordinary. It is a time travel movie that involves high vfx. Hari Krishna K is producing Bimbisara under NTR Arts banner while Mallidi Vashist is being introduced as director. Chirantan Bhatt has composed the music of this film. Bimbisara is the 18th film of Kalyan Ram.
