Kamal Haasan to contest assembly elections in 2021, says, 'I will demand support from Rajinikanth'

Chennai: Recently, the film actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan has made a big statement and due to this statement, he has also come in the discussions. Recently, he has announced to contest the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu next year. Not only this, he has even said that he will seek help from Rajinikanth to contest the election.

Recently, Kamal Haasan said, 'He is discussing politics with Rajinikanth, who is also considering to form a political party'. Simultaneously, he also said, 'He will contest the 2021 assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and will also seek support from fellow actor Rajinikanth.' On Thursday, Kamal Haasan said during a media interaction in Chennai that he had chosen the Makkal Needhi Mayim (MNM) party, he will contest the assembly elections next year. He is discussing politics with Rajinikanth, who is also considering forming a political party. 

Further, the MNM founder said that he will seek support from Rajinikanth in the upcoming elections. With this Kamal Haasan also said, 'Rajinikanth has to decide on his political stance and his health is more important. The process of selecting potential candidates for the assembly elections is going on.
