Kanpur: Saif, a peddler, was shot dead, two accused arrested

Lucknow: The fear of the Yogi government is clearly visible among criminals in Uttar Pradesh. This has been admitted by the accused himself, who killed a young man openly. The accused says that while killing him, I was afraid of the Yogi government, but he used to abuse me, so I killed him. Kanpur police have arrested two accused in the murder case.

According to the report, Saif, who ran a hosiery cart, was murdered on the night of 26 May in Kanpur. Many cases were also registered against Saif. He is also a relative of jailed former SP councillor Munnu Rehmani along with SP MLA Irfan Solanki. The incident of Saif's murder was captured on CCTV, where the killers called the deceased and first beat him up and then shot him. More than seven killers were clearly seen in the CCTV footage, in which the main accused Salman Kana was recorded firing from the gun. On the basis of this CCTV, the police arrested Salman and one of his associates Atif today. Two pistols and a mobile phone were also recovered from them. These were the same pistols with which Saif was shot.

During this, the killers said that the deceased used to abuse us, so they killed us... While the police say that there was a dispute  over money transactions, the killers first called the deceased to the spot... There was an argument between them, after which he was shot. The police have arrested two of the accused.
