The Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of films released and is breaking all the records at Box office.. According to the Box office reports, the Hindi version of Kannada earned twice the amount on Sunday, October 16, when compared to the numbers on Saturday, October 16. The film (inclusive of all languages) recently crossed more than Rs 100 crore worldwide and is still going strong at the box office. Kantara Hindi version's Day 3 collections is higher than that of the previous two days. On its third day, it showed double the growth. The film is estimated to have collected Rs 4.28 crore, thereby taking the opening day collection to Rs 8.30 crore nett. The film is doing very well at Box office due to mouth publicity. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and pointed out that Kantara surpassed Rs 100 crore worldwide. He further added that the majority of the collection is from the Kannada version. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office figures of Kantara Hindi. He wrote, “#Kantara *#Hindi version* springs a big surprise, as biz jumps on Day 2 [+ 116.54%]... Nett BOC.” Speaking about the film, Kantara, which translates to the mystical forest, tells the story of a local demigod (Bhoota) who trades forest land to the tribe's people with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when the king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhoota.
