Kapil Sibal revels audio! Justifies RSS link to Judge Loya case

Delhi: Congress leader Kapil Sibal said that the PIL filed in the judge's Loya death case was petitioned by the RSS person. So that issue could reach the Supreme Court. He questioned the purpose of the PIL. Sibal said that the Supreme Court had truly said that there was a political motive behind the PIL.

Sibal has said that we are sorry that no legal action was taken in this matter. He informed that the person who filed this petition is Suraj Lolge, he is from Nagpur. Sibal alleged that the petitioner is close to the BJP and the RSS. He also sought a ticket from BJP for the Civic elections.

Apart from this, he attacked the Modi government because Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, K.M. Joseph's name was not approved as Judge of the Supreme Court.

 Congress leader Kapil Sibal said that we are constantly saying that the judiciary is in danger.

In a special Press address, Sibal played an audio clip allegedly a conversation between a PIL petitioner and a senior RSS functionary.

He added that ‘If Judiciary system doesn’t stand united in one voice then democracy would be in danger.’

Meanwhile he congratulated Indu Malhotra’s elevation as a new Supreme Court judge but also expressed distress on the Centre withholding the appointment of Uttarakhand High Court’s Chief Justice KM Joseph.
