When Kangana Ranaut appeared on the show 'Koffee With Karan with' her Rangoon co-star 'Saif Ali Khan', then the 'Queen' fame indicted Karan Johar of being the “flag bearer of nepotism” in B-Town.
Karan, who was speaking at gathering moderated by actor Koel Purie on the day of Conclave, said most guests on his show usually give ‘politically correct’ answers in the ‘rapid fire’ round.
However, the current controversy between London thumakda girl Kangana Ranaut and Bang Bang star Hrithik Roshan has been attracting everyone's attention and creating headlines, there was the fiery matter that everyone was talking about – Nepotism. It all started when Kangana Ranaut opened a can of worms on Koffee With Karan and accused Karan Johar of being the flag-bearer of nepotism.
Here’s what he said, “It seems like we are criminals. It’s like everywhere we are slapped with legal notices as we are children of parents who are within the film industry.”
Actress Kangana Ranaut said that she had made her stand on nepotism very clear in her open letter and does not feel the need to say anything else on the topic now. At an award function, Varun Dhawan along with hosts for the eve were present.
