Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa says, 'Not afraid of corona virus, I also got infected'

Bengaluru: Terming the Coronavirus as the country's most damaging and deadly epidemic, Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa said that the people of the state are very frustrated by it. In mid-March, at the time of its outbreak, they have suffered a great loss. The CM said that people should not be afraid about this epidemic, because he too has been infected. In his address on the occasion of 15 August, CM said, 'The people of the state are desperate. The coronavirus has been bringing economic and social activities to a standstill. Recession, lack of employment has arisen and the revenue to the state government is decreasing.'

No solution to the lockdown corona: Yeddyurappa said that although the state government had implemented a lockdown to prevent it from spreading in the beginning, economic and social activities have stopped since then. After realizing that the lockdown which is not a solution to stop the spread, we released it from June 1. It is necessary for all citizens to wear masks, wash hands and maintain physical distance. This work has been done to bring economic activities back on track and restore normalcy.

Corona affected every region: He said that communicable disease has affected every region. Life stopped during lockdown is slowly coming back on track. After this, he told about this, 'I too got infected with this virus, but I have recovered. On this occasion, I would like to tell people that people do not need to fear its infection.'
