Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai arrives in Delhi, says he will take decision on deputy CM after discussion

Bangalore: Karnataka's new Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has visited the national capital Delhi today for the first time since assuming charge of the state's CM. Basavaraj Bommai is meeting senior BJP leaders in Delhi. He will also meet PM Narendra Modi this evening. He met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today.

CM Basavaraj Bommai has said that a decision on the name of deputy chief minister in the state is yet to be taken. He said a decision in the name of deputy CM will be taken only after discussing with the high command and brainstorming with the state leadership. Tell you that there is talk in the state that two or three deputy chief ministers can be made with the new CM Basavaraj. Basavaraj Bommai said discussions have been held with Home Minister Amit Shah on the challenge for Karnataka.

He said discussions were held with Amit Shah on the issue of good governance, the cabinet expansion is yet to take place. The deputy CM has also not been decided. It will be decided only by discussing this. On the political situation in the state, he said, "I don't consider it a political challenge. We have a national side, it's strong. Our government is being formed all over the country. That is why I will take the guidance, opinion, and opinion of the high command according to the entire country. There is no political challenge.''
