Karnataka govt. announces Rs. 10 lakh reward for anyone providing clues in Lankesh's murder case

In the journalist Gauri Lankesh Murder case, the Karnataka government has announced a reward of 10 lakh rupees for the informer of the murderer. Yesterday, state Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy announced this. 

Meanwhile, the Karnataka Police had issued a phone number email ID and asked the public to share the information related to the case.

Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said, "The Chief Minister has instructed to investigate and speed up the journalist murder case and arrest the culprits as soon as possible. We have given SIT enough officers if they will need more and we will give more officers."

Chief Minister's high-level meeting:

Today Chief Minister Siddaramaiah held meetings with the officials about the progress of the case. In this meeting, SIT chief BK Singh, Police DG RK Datta, Intelligence DG AM Prasad are also present. Let me tell you that the state government had announced the formation of a 21-member SIT under the leadership of IGP BK Singh on Wednesday.

Karnataka's senior woman journalist Gauri Lankesh was shot and killed by some unidentified assailants outside her home in Bangalore. Gauri was the editor of Lankesh magazine.
