Karnataka government imposes night curfew from today till January 2

Bangalore: The number of patients infected with the coronavirus is increasing steadily throughout the country. Meanwhile, news of the new variant of Corona found in the United Kingdom has raised concerns of the Indian government. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Karnataka government has decided to impose the night curfew in the state from tonight.

Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa has said that the Karnataka government has decided to impose a night curfew in the state from 10 pm to 6 am tonight. This curfew will remain in force till January 2. Earlier, CM BS Yeddyurappa said that at present there is no need to impose night curfew. Earlier, nocturnal curfew has been imposed in Maharashtra in view of the spread of a new variety of coronavirus in Britain.

CM Yeddyurappa said, 'People of the state and the country are troubled by the new strain of coronavirus. We have come to know that a person who arrived in Chennai has been found infected. We have to take extra precaution. Every person coming from outside will be examined at the airport.'
