New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has declared that he will launch a national political party to challenge the BJP, which is currently in power. KCR met with former chief minister of Karnataka and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday, and discussions on starting a national political party were in full swing. KCR is doing everything in his power to criticise the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their policies. KCR is now using the slogan "BJP Mukt Bharat" in opposition to Modi's previous one, "Congress Mukt Bharat." Since 2018, KCR has been considering a national role, but his efforts have gotten more serious recently. Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman commented on the rumours that KCR would found a national political party and his criticism of the BJP "We have no issue with KCR starting a national party or growing his family party. For the past three to four years, we have been hearing about the formation of a national party while simultaneously hearing about the Third Front party. Everything here is unclear and vague ". The regional parties have struggled to defeat the BJP on their own. Together, the CPM, CPI, AIMIM, and TRS will soon work with the Congress. Laxman asserted that PM Modi is capable of rising to the Congress's challenge. He went on to say, "The all-party alliance won't have an impact on the BJP. The Congress is a corrupt political party. PM Modi is capable of accepting the Congress party's challenge ". KCR was charged by Laxman with creating a party for his kid. Added he, "KCR founded a national party out of love for his son and to secure the leadership for him. This party will be for his son to take over in Telangana". In a dig at KCR, Laxman continued by saying that no matter what they do, the BJP won't be impacted by the 2024 Lok Sabha poll or the Telangana election. They have no election-related agenda. "Mamta Banerjee, tell me who their leader is. Nicolai Kumar? Kejriwal, Arvind What is the national party and Rahul Gandhi all about? They barely have 9 seats out of 17 in Telangana, yet they're talking about a national party. We are moving forward and will continue to move forward regardless of what happens because the public is with us, so do anything you want "Laxman said. Speaking of the time when Chandrababu Naidu, an ex-chief minister, and others formed a party during the elections, he said, "If we talk about the situation in Telangana, then none of the promises made to the people here were fulfilled, farmers' loans were not waived, and fertilisers. If we think about what happened the last time Chandrababu Naidu came together with everyone, yet completely failed in the election. It was a matter of giving it out for free, but it wasn't done so; they were about to grant unemployment benefits, but they didn't give them to the young people; young people are killing themselves; and teachers are on strike ". On the other hand, the BJP has been actively campaigning in Telangana. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, and PM Modi recently travelled to Telangana. The BJP has been attempting to overthrow the TRS government in Telangana. In the municipal elections in Hyderabad, the saffron party became a significant player. In addition to this, it was successful in winning two byelections.
