'Kejriwal govt will teach Yoga to Delhiites for free...', CM announces

New Delhi:  On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national president Arvind Kejriwal performed yoga asanas with hundreds of people at thyagaraj stadium on Tuesday. On the occasion, promising to teach yoga to the people of Delhi for free, CM Kejriwal also said that his government wants to provide yoga education in schools as well. Along with the members of 'Delhi Ki Yogashala', Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was also present at Kejriwal's Yogasana.

Addressing the gathering, Kejriwal said the Delhi government wants everyone to do yoga on a daily basis. "If the habit of yoga is instilled in children, it will be associated with them for the rest of their lives. Our aim is to teach yoga to children and see how it can be started in schools. Cm Kejriwal further said that the health infrastructure in Delhi has become better, but by making yoga a part of their lives, people will not need to go to the hospital.  

On the occasion of The Yogashala programme in Delhi, CM Kejriwal said that he had learnt yoga free of cost and it will be free of cost for Delhiites also. Kejriwal said, "Thousands of people are doing yoga in Delhi, but we have to take it to lakhs. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener said that under the 'Yogashala of Delhi', 17,000 men, women, poor and rich are doing yoga every day at 564 places.
