65% of country's total cases are from Kerala alone, situation worsened after Onam

Kochi: Corona cases have increased in the states after Onam, a festival celebrated with huge fanfare in Kerala. According to media reports, 24,296 new corona cases have been registered in the state in the last 24 hours. This is being seen as the highest number recorded in the last three months period. With the increase in corona cases in the state, the country has again reached 37,000 of the latest cases in a full 11 days.

Corona cases that followed Onam are the highest in infection cases in the last three months. According to the report, 65 percent of the total cases in the country are coming from Kerala alone. The increased cases are also coming to light when testing (Testing) has been reduced at present due to Onam in Kerala. Kerala, the state with the highest number of cases compared to other states, had reported around 17,000 corona cases every day in the last three days, although the number of covid infected people has exceeded 20,000 several times before three days.

The country has also seen an increase in corona cases. In the last 24 hours, nearly 37,000 cases have been reported across the country, while about 34,169 people have recovered from the corona. According to data released by the Health Ministry, 37,593 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, while 648 people have died. In addition, 34,169 people have recovered.
