A BAPS Swaminarayan temple has been vandalized in Australia after the anti-India slogans began in the country by local Khalistani supporters. This incident happened on the Thursday morning at the Mills Park in Melbourne. Anti-India slogans and anti-Modi slogans has been found sprayed on the gates of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir where words like ‘Hindustan Murdabad’, ‘Modi=Hitler’, ‘Sant Bhindrawale is martyr’ were sprayed on two pillars at the entrance of the temple. Where Sant Bhindrawale is the militant Sikh leader killed inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar during the operation ‘bluestar’. BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha Australia has put out an appeal saying, “We are deeply saddened by the anti-India graffiti at the gates of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir by the anti-social elements. The BAPS temple in Mill Park, like all temples of BAPS worldwide, is an abode of peace, harmony, equality, selfless service and universal Hindu values. At this time, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leaders of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, has prayed for peace and unity and has appealed to all devotees and well-wishers to maintain peace”.
