Putting all rumors to rest, the actor on Monday said that he is not contesting the Lok Sabha elections. "The rumor about me contesting for the Lok Sabha elections is not true. I stand with my country and in full support for my sister Priya Dutt. I urge everyone to come out in maximum numbers and cast their vote for our nation!" he tweeted. Akshay Kumar, Bollywood’s Khiladi, had to issue a similar clarification a week ago. “Politics is not on my agenda,” he said. There were rumors that Akshay is likely to contest the elections on a BJP ticket. On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt is currently preparing for Panipat, Kalank, Prasthanam, and Torbaaz.
