Kia Motors launches new mini SUV after Seltos success

In the festive season, the launch of new vehicles in the auto market has come in the meantime, while Kia Motors got a glimpse of the new mini SUV. Kia Motors' first product in India, the Seltos was a big hit. Despite sluggishness in the automobile industry, Kia Seltos has received a very good response. With this, South Korean company Kia Motors has established itself as a new and premium brand in India. After Celtos, the company is now planning to bring two new cars to India next year. These will include an SUV smaller than 4 meters and the other an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle). The sub-compact SUV, smaller than Kia's 4 meters, has been given the QYi codename. Technically it is based on Hyundai's Venue. Even at the international level, Kia and Hyundai regularly share platforms and components between each other. Kia has started testing this sub-compact SUV. This has been observed during testing around the company's plant in Andhra Pradesh.

It is worth noting that the technical details of the new SUV have not been revealed yet. Reports say that engines with venus can be given in it. This means that this small SUV from Kia will have 2 petrol engine options, including a 1.2-liter with 83 PS power and a 1-liter turbo petrol engine with 125 PS power. Both engines will conform to BS6 emission norms. The diesel engine will be a 1.5-liter Celtos, which generates less power than the Celtos. Leaked photos during testing have revealed that the Kia's sub-compact SUV will be in a somewhat Hyundai Venue-like shape. It will feature LED taillamps, black-out B-pillars, roof rails and short rear overhangs.
