In India, Kia Motor has introduced its first luxury SUV (SUV) Kia Seltos. The company's concept model of the luxury SUV was introduced at the 2018 Auto Expo. Since then Kia Seltos had been being injected for quite some time. Kia Seltos will face tough competition from the Korean car company's popular Jeep Compass in the Indian market. Kia has invested $2 billion in India, where the company has set up a large production plant at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. The first several photos of Kia Seltos had already been teased by the company. On the other hand, its intelligence pictures had surfaced on social media.

The company has not announced any of the launch dates of Kia Seltos. However, the company will launch it in the second half. The company may launch it during Diwali or festive season. Kia Motor has not given any details about the prices of its Kia Seltos. However, the ex-showroom is expected to be priced between Rs 11 and Rs 15 lakh. Kia Seltos has three driving modes. These include Normal, Eco and Sports.
The Kia Seltos will be launched in four variants for your information. These include IVT, 7DCT, 6AT, and Manual. Kia Seltos features VSM, ESC, TCS, and Hill Start Assist Control for safety. The Kia Seltos is powered by the ENGINE of the BS6 Violator. The Kia Seltos will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre petrol engine with a manual and automatic transmission.
