Kia's Seltos Breaks Records with 50,000 Bookings; New Models Offer, Details Inside

Kia India is shaking up the Seltos lineup with the introduction of two exciting new variants: the GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S). Positioned strategically between the HTX+ variant and the existing GTX+ and X-Line models, these fresh additions promise a thrilling blend of technology and style. The GTX+ (S) comes with a price tag of Rs.19.40 lakh, while the X-Line (S) is available at Rs.19.60 lakh. These prices apply to the Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Petrol with a 7-speed DCT transmission and the 1.5l CRDi VGT Diesel engine with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, respectively.

In terms of audio and visual delights, these newcomers offer a six-speaker audio system and a Rear Camera, a departure from the Bose audio systems and Surround View Monitor featured in the GTX+ and X-Line variants of the recently-revamped Seltos.

The New Seltos has been a hit, surpassing the 50,000 bookings milestone in just over two months since bookings opened. Notably, the top-of-the-line variants have been in high demand, accounting for a significant 77 percent of the total bookings.

Kia's move to introduce these new variants is poised to make a real impact on wait times, slashing them from 15-16 weeks down to 7-9 weeks. These models come loaded with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Aids System boasting an impressive 17 autonomous functionalities. Adding to the convenience, an electronic parking brake with auto hold is also included.

For those with a keen eye for aesthetics, Kia is offering the option of 18-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with a glossy black finish. If you desire a black roof, there's an additional charge of Rs.20,000.

Commenting on the launch, Hardeep Singh Brar, National Head Sales and Marketing – Kia India, stated, “There is no better way to win customers' hearts than by offering them swift access to their beloved car. The average waiting period for the new Seltos lineup is about 15-16 weeks, but with these new variants, we're cutting it down to 7-9 weeks, ensuring deliveries before Diwali. These variants have been thoughtfully crafted for tech-savvy customers who refuse to compromise on looks, technology, and ADAS-assisted safety systems, all while seeking prompt delivery. It has always been our constant endeavor to provide the utmost value to our modern customers, blending the best in design and technology."
