The kidnapped doctor was safely rescued by Cyberabad police

The Cyberabad police have achieved another success in their work. A doctor was recently kidnapped and the Cyberabad police were in his rescue operation. On Tuesday afternoon, the Cyberabad police rescued the doctor from Rajendranagar with the help of Anantapur police. A man was reportedly detained by the police.

At 1.30 pm on Tuesday, a gang of six members of Hyderabad kidnapped 58-year-old Dr. Behjas Hussain from an apartment adjacent to the Excise Academy in Kissmatpur. Then they forced him to take him in his car. A few minutes later, his family got a voice message on the mobile phone, but the audio was not clear and they could not make what the message was. Based on their complaint, the police have registered a case and investigated.

Police have alerted Telangana and neighbouring states after the gang was identified at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. Kidnappers are moving the doctor to Bangalore. One of the kidnappers is a doctor tenant in the same building, an official said. A special team set out to Anantapur to bring the doctor to the city. Cyberabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar and other officials have been monitoring the case since yesterday evening. There is a possibility of a press meet during the day.
