Government launches Kisan Rath app to help farmers

The lockdown has been announced in the country till May 3 due to the corona virus. Along with this lockdown, farmers are having a lot of trouble selling crops and vegetables. In view of this problem of farmers, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday launched the Kisan Rath mobile app with an aim to ease the transport of agricultural products. At the same time, farmers and traders can easily buy and sell crops through the Kisan Rath app.

You can also click here to download. After downloading the app, you will have to register for PM Kisan with information like name, mobile number and Aadhaar number. If you are a merchant, you will have to register with the company name, your name and mobile number. After registering, you will be able to login to the app with a mobile number and a password. Kisan Rath is available in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages.

What is the benefit of Kisan Rath app? The government has launched Kisan Rath for the purchase and sale of vegetables and crops in the event of lockdown, so that farmers can easily sell their goods and traders can buy. According to the information given on the play-store, Kisan Rath will help farmers and traders across the country to take agricultural produce to the market.
