New Delhi: The Government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana for unorganized sector workers. The objective of the scheme is to support the workers in old age. The scheme was launched by the Government in the year 2019. On completion of the age of 60 years, the labourers get a monthly pension of three thousand rupees per month. The age of applying in PM Labour Yogi Mandhan scheme is 18 to 40 years. The income per month should be less than Rs. 15,000. In this scheme, workers can invest money in terms of age. It can be invested from Rs. 55 to Rs. 200 per month. Those aged 18 will have to pay Rs. 55 per month. The 30-year-old will have to pay Rs. 100 and 40 years of age 200. If someone registers at the age of 18, he will have to deposit Rs 660 in a year. On completion of 60 years, a pension of Rs. 3,000 thousand will be received. To register in the scheme, the workers will have to go to the common service centre with Aadhaar card, bank account passbook. Where his account will open and a Labour Yogi card is given. In the death of the beneficiary of the scheme, his kin is can get pension.
