Umesh Yadav, the most successful fast bowler of the current era of the Indian team, is celebrating his 35th birthday today. Umesh has always been known for his sharp bowling. He is one of the most prominent fast bowlers of the current Indian cricket team. Born on October 25,  1987, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. When he is in the Indian team, he breathes life into the team with his havoc bowling. His father's name was Tilak Yadav and his mother's name was Kishori Devi. Umesh's father was a labourer in a coal mine. Umesh has managed to make his mark in cricket in a very short time.

Umesh did not want to be a cricketer, but he wanted to serve the country by going to the police or the army. He made several attempts to get into the police and army. But eventually, he failed. Because in his destiny, it was written to bring glory to the country by playing cricket. Apart from the national team, Umesh also plays cricket for the domestic cricket team Vidarbha, and the IPL cricket team Kolkata.

Umesh made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2010, and in the same year, he made his Test debut against the West Indies. Umesh has taken 106 wickets in a total of 75 matches in ODIs, while he has 158 wickets in 52 matches of Test cricket. Umesh proved to be the trump card for India in the 2015 World Cup, and he took a total of 18 wickets.
