Know the reason, Why we won't see the next part of Pirates Of The Caribbean

Johnny Depp starrer Pirates of the Caribbean is a series of American fantasy swashbuckler films produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and based on Walt Disney's theme park ride with the same name Pirates Of The Caribbean.

Though the series is highly appreciated but after the poor performance of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales', the film's producer Jerry Brookecker indicated that he might not make the next film in this series in the future.

According to the report by Daily Mail, Dot-UK, actor Johnny Depp played a leading role in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'. This film earned less than all the films of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' at the domestic box office. In an interview given to Yahoo, Brookecker said that time will decide the fate of this franchise.

He said, "I hope we will continue to make films of this series, but you know, we are enjoying the promotion of this movie right now, so we have to wait now. We hope that the DVD of this movie will be hit like the rest of the films."

Brookecker further said, "I think this movie is a great one. What I mean to say is that you are talking about the fifth film of this series and the US Dollar is very much due to which we are getting less money from overseas. We lost 27 percent due to the conversion rate."
