BJP who is highly confident of win in RR Nagar assembly constituency in Bengaluru and Sira assembly segment in Tumakuru district with high margins expressed its happiness whereas the opposition Congress looks it differently. He said they had filed a number of complaints with the Election Commission about irregularities during the polls, and the Commission has taken note of complaints on misuse of administrative machinery and the highhandedness of police. On responding to a question on his expectation from the constituencies the president said he had confidence in their voters. Due to his party members working very hard in both constituencies, and leaders from other parties extending support to the Congress, his candidates will win both the seats replied ShivaKumar. Congress candidate expressed suspicion on EVM, Karnataka bypolls The low voter turnout of 45.24% in RR Nagar is due to the failure of the State and Central government to respond to people’s problems. Meanwhile, in Mysuru, Minister ST Somashekhar said people of RR Nagar and Sira constituencies voted for BJP candidates and would be winning by a huge margin. Minister said Jayachandra from SIRA has registered complaint about voting machine which clearly indicates he predicts his failure and accepting the defeat. The people are happy with the development work carried out by the government and the results will be proof of it. Government assessment says BJP will capture RR Nagar and Sira constituencies
