Kuldeep Yadav family is happy with his performance

The Indian team yesterday won the second ODI against Australia by 50 runs at the Eden Gardens in which the Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav emerged out as the star player as he grabbed three wickets and became the third Indian cricketer to take a hat-trick in ODIs.

He dismissed Matthew Wade, Ashton Agar, and Pat Cummins to join Chetan Sharma (1987) and Kapil Dev (1991) on the list. The 22-year old also became the first Indian spinner to take a hat-trick in the 50-over format.

With his achievement, his family members are very happy. His youngest sister Anushka Singh Yadav told ANI "I am feeling really good that my brother has played so well. We all were waiting for this moment and it happened,"

"Though he did not start well, we knew in our hearts that he will do something special today," she added.

His mother Usha Yadav said "It is such a proud moment for me as a mother. I got really upset when he was not getting any wickets,"

"I did not watch the match for sometimes and went to pray. And, he did what I prayed for him," she added.

The Third ODI between both the teams is scheduled to be played at the Holkar Stadium, Indore on Sunday and it will be exciting to see Kuldeep Yadav performance.
