Bengaluru: Days after a young BJP worker was murdered in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada's Bellare, a 23-year-old man was found killed on the outskirts of Mangaluru. In fact, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Saturday condemned these incidents and during this, he said that the government has 'destroyed' the state which is the 'garden of peace.' The former chief minister tweeted, "An incompetent, helpless BJP government in Karnataka, unable to protect not only the people of the country but its workers, handed over the Praveen Nettaru murder case to the NIA for investigation. However, the NIA is hesitant to investigate all the murders on the coast! Why?'' With this, Kumaraswamy said that 'the government has information about every murder. It is also known that those murders are taking place.' However, the 'double engine government' is playing a double game. The BJP, which claims to be the single largest political party, is too weak to guarantee the lives of the youth who are brought to power. With this, Kumaraswamy further questioned Bommai whether he had taken any action for 'peace of mind'. Apart from this, he also said, 'What message was given to the people in Mangalore by the brave Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who handed over Praveen's murder case to the NIA for investigation? Did the word 'keep the peace' come on his tongue at least once? didn't come !! Have you taken action for peace of mind? He didn't either. They added more fuel to the violence. In fact, hitting out at the Chief Minister for handing over the case to the NIA for investigation, Kumaraswamy said that he "does not have faith" in the police system. With this, he tweeted and said, 'How many cases investigated by the NIA have a logical conclusion? nobody is here. After handing over the case to the NIA, what was the message given by the Chief Minister to the state police which is proceeding in the investigation? The one who himself was the Home Minister, after becoming the CM, he does not trust the police system under him. Isn't it ironic?' In fact, Kumaraswamy said, 'Are there no skilled police officers in the state? If loyal and honest officers are given a free hand, they can root out coastal violence. But the BJP government in Karnataka does not want this. The pretence of handing over the case to the NIA without relying on the competent authorities is going to create a 'tomb' for the investigation of the massacre.' Calling the state a "garden of peace for all castes", the JDS leader said the chief minister has "destroyed" it. With this, he tweeted and said, 'Karnataka is a garden of peace for all castes. You have destroyed it. Your kingdom, built under the head of a venomous snake called Violence, certainly.'
