Kumbh Mela: Odisha orders devotees coming back to get RT-CPR test done

Looking to the decisions of other states the Odisha Government has made RT-PCR test compulsory for returnees. People who have visit Haridwar Kumbh Mela from the state have to compulsorily get tested before boarding a train or flight to Odisha. No one will be allowed to enter without a COVID test. 

A list has been shared of pligrims who have attended the Kumbh by Collectors and Municipal Commissioner. The one who are registered with the Uttarakhand government for participating in Kumbh Mela will have to get test done. The SRC has advised all collectors and Municipal Commissioners to track people and find out the location, travel plan and advise them to undergo RT-PCR test. before boarding train or flight to Odisha. The order further read "ASHA and Anganwadi Workers must visit them regularly in-home or CTMCs and monitor their health conditions. All such persons have to be advised to voluntarily self isolate them and report to BDO/ Municipal/ NAC officers/ PHC/ CHC concerned about their condition." It is also requested by the state government to strictly comply with adherence to COVID-19 protocols. Daily reports of the state is to be reviewed by the collectors and commissioners. 

In the meantime, health department has revealed the data. The state tally of active corona cases has mounted to 3,64,594.
