Laal Singh Chadddha Boxoffice: Beats Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhuliya Globally

Amid the Boycott Trends, Laal Singh Chaddha has failed to win the Box office Battle in India but the movie is doing well in Globally. It has been fairing rather well, bringing the global total closer to crossing the Rs. 126 cr.Drawing in Rs. 66.11 cr. gross within the domestic market and a further Rs. 59.88 cr. gross from the overseas markets, the total worldwide collections of Laal Singh Chaddha are pegged at Rs. 125.99 cr. As per a Box office reports, Laal Singh Chaddha has managed to bring in six million USD (47.95 crores INR/ approx) in the first week of its release itself, thus crossing 2022's two of the most successful theatrical releases thus far: Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and director Vivek Agnihotri's controversial social film The Kashmir Files. . On the other hand, Alia Bhatt's smash hit Gangubai Kathiawadi is the highest-grossing Indian film overseas with a collection of 7.47 million USD,  In India Aamir Laal Singh Chaddha is still struggling in the  theatre in India. On its second weekend, the film managed to collect just ₹4.65 crore in India. While the numbers aren’t looking any good, it’s negligibly better than Akshay Kumar’s film Raksha Bandhan, which made a total of ₹4 crore in the same time. Released in the same week, Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha are predicted to rake around ₹60 crore and ₹45-46 crore net mark. According to boxofficeindia.com, Aamir’s film remained ‘dull’ with a total of ₹55 crore haul so far. On its second weekend—Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it collected ₹ 1.25, ₹ 1.50 and ₹1.90 respectively. Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump. It also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. The film opened at ₹ 11.70 crore, and performed underwhelmingly ever since.
