Laal Singh Chaddha’s writer Atul Kulkarni on its Failure, When destruction is celebrated…

Laal Singh Chaddha was one of the most awaited movies of the year but the movie was called for a boycott which directly affected the box-office business. Famous Actor and writer Atul Kulkarni posted a cryptic tweet in the aftermath of the failure of the recent film Laal Singh Chaddha, for which he shared the screenplay writing credits with Eric Roth.

Atul took to his social media and wrote, “When destruction is celebrated as if it were a spectacle, the harsh truths are reduced to debris.” He added the hashtag ‘global phenomenon’ to the tweet. Atul does not specify the reason of his tweet but people assumed that he was talking about Laal Singh Chaddha.

As soon as the tweet catches the eyes of people they started commenting on it. One wrote, “I can understand why Atul has limited the comments to his tweets. It is a dark world out there that celebrates another person's failure. Rational thinking is lost and its time to introspects. Really unfortunate!”  One wrote, “I can understand why Atul has limited the comments to his tweets. It is a dark world out there that celebrates another person's failure. Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi adaptation of the Oscar-winning 1994 film Forrest Gump. It was adapted by Atul Kulkarni and starred Aamir and Kareena Kapoor, alongside Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. Even before the release of the film, there had been calls on social media to boycott it due to the old controversial statement of Aamir Khan and his family members. Laal Singh Chaddha was released in theatres on August 11 to poor response. The film could only collect Rs 49 crore in the first week of release.
