BJP MP Jamyang Tsering gets furious on tourists over littering garbage

Leh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP from Union Territory of Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal has expressed displeasure over garbage dumped by tourists at tourist places in Ladakh on social media. He said that Ladakh is our home and not a dustbin.

In fact, as the corona virus wave slowed down, people who have long been confined to their homes have started arriving at tourist destinations in Anan-Phanan. Unaware of the threat of the third wave, tourists are moving towards the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand. Not only does the threat of an epidemic persist, but the crowd of tourists is unknowingly indulging in acts that have angered the locals as well. In fact, a large number of tourists have also left for Ladakh in the past few days, but the local MP has expressed displeasure over the spread of garbage by tourists here and there.

BJP MP from Ladakh Jamyang Sering Namgyal shared pictures of garbage littered by tourists on social media and appealed that 'Ladakh is their house, not a tourist dustbin.' Namgyal has welcomed tourists coming to Ladakh but has also urged people not to spread garbage here and there as it is our house and not a tourist dustbin.
