Lucknow: 'Kisan Protesters' attack BJP workers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. 8 people have lost their lives in the incident. The administration said that the situation is currently under control. The Government has sent Additional Chief Secretary (Personnel and Agriculture), Commissioner, ADG (Law and Order), Lucknow and IG to camp at the spot. The government has urged people to stay at home and not be misled by anyone. Seeking the contribution of the people in maintaining peace on the spot, it has been instructed not to come to any conclusion before the inquiry.

Meanwhile, some disturbing videos have also surfaced from Lakhimpur Kheri in which some protesters are seen assaulting them. These 'farmer protesters' are beating people with sticks. The so-called 'farmers' say that the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra forcibly mounted a car on the 'agitators' and trampled them. However, it is not yet clear what is the status of the person being beaten up in the video.
