Patna: The dates of assembly elections in Bihar have been announced. These are the first major elections to be held in the country amid the Corona virus crisis. These dates were announced in a press conference by the Election Commission on Friday. This time, Bihar will be voting in three phases and the results will be announced on 10 November. Voting for the first phase will take place on October 28, while the third phase will be voted on November 3 and November 7 for the second phase. After the elections were announced, former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav has tweeted a tweet. Calling the people of Bihar in his tweet, Lalu Yadav wrote, "Get up Bihari, do preparations. The rule of the people is now." Lalu further wrote in his tweet, "Bihar will change. Officer Raj will end. Now public will rule." Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav, son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Deputy CM of the state and commenting on the announcement of elections, said that this time our victory is certain. CM of Bihar does not take care of anyone. Most crimes occurred under Nitish Kumar. Attacking the CM, Tejashwi had said, "Nitish Kumar is Bhishma Pitamah of corruption. The people of Bihar have created a mood. The public will avenge the humiliation of the mandate. We are ready whatever the elections are. NDA is sure to be wiped out. The people of Bihar will take revenge with Nitish Kumar's government.
