New Delhi: The coronavirus havoc in the country is increasing day by day. Not only are corona cases increasing, but now even death figures are starting to scare. Daily in June, the number of deaths from corona in the country can go beyond two and a half thousand. This claim has been made about India in research published in the Lancet Journal. An important fact is that a research scientist is a member of the Corona Task Force of the Government of India. In an article titled 'Necessary steps to manage India's second corona wave', it is reported that soon an average of 1750 patients per day can be killed in the country. This number of deaths per day can reach 2320 in the first week of June, growing very fast. According to the report, this time, the tier-2 and tier-3 cities of the country are the most infected by Corona. That is, the situation is worse this time in cities with a population of up to one million. It has also been said that according to the geographical location, the transfected areas in the first wave and the second wave are almost the same. During the first wave, 50 percent of the cases came from 40 districts, which has now reduced to 20 districts. That is, the infection is wreaking havoc in some districts. Last year, when the first wave was at its peak, 75 percent of the cases were coming from 60 to 100 districts. Whereas this time only 20 to 40 districts contribute in the same percentage of cases.
