The two-wheeler industry has faced major setbacks in recent months and this reflects on every company's one-on-one brand sales figures. In May 2019, Hero Motocorp placed its Splendor above Honda Activa in terms of sales. However, Year-on-year Splendor's sales have seen a mild decline. The entry-level commuter has started with about 50,000 more units than the Activa and the Activa has achieved a decline of 20 percent. Last month, Activa sold 2,18,734 units, compared to 2,72,475 units in the same period last year.

Three scooters are included in the list, with TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access also ranked ninth and 10th. Jupiter has sold 56,797 units year-on-year with a decline of 2 percent, while Access 125 for Suzuki in India has achieved an increase of 11 percent. Hero Motocorp's mass-market-based commuter lineup has been strong throughout the past month as sales declined significantly year-on-year. If the goal of making all two-wheelers less than 150cc electric than 2025 is met, the table will be completely affected.
