Lieutenant Governor of the Puducherry Kiran Bedi today has declared that she will leave the office next year when she completes two years. "I Will demit office on May 29,2018, when I complete two years in Puducherry, said Kiran Bedi." The announcement she made just day after Congress MLA directed centre's intervention complaining about the working style of her and also cancelling the circular issued by Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy. She was appointed the Lieutenant Governor of the Puducherry last year in the May.
