Like Congress, PM Modi will not pass to create jobs

 

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi said that Like Congress, PM Modi will also fail to create jobs.

"That same populace who got annoyed with us because we couldn't bring on those 30,000 jobs (a day) are going to get annoyed with Mr Modi," he said during an interaction with students and faculty at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.

In fact, dissatisfaction has already set in, said Rahul.

"There is annoyance building up in India," he said.

Rahul went so far as to make a clean breast that it was the Congress-led UPA's failure in the jobs arena that was directly responsible for Modi's get higher.

"The fundamental reason why a Mr Modi rose - and to a level why Mr Trump came - is the query of jobs in India and the United States," said the Congress vice-president.

A great part of India's population that is unemployed, Rahul additionally charged, is feeling the pain. And it is this group that supported "these types of leaders".

"The challenge is how to solve the job problem in democratic surroundings, and honestly the Congress party was unable to do it," Rahul admitted.

Despite its victory, Rahul believes Modi and the BJP haven't understood how imperative it is to keep the promise to generate jobs.
