Lucknow: The state government has decided to evaluate the functioning of PCS officers like IAS officers. All arrangements will be made online and on schedule. CM Yogi Adityanath has given in-principle permission to the proposal. IAS officers are allowed to provide online details of their income and property at the e-office within the stipulated time frame every year. Secret Entry (ACR) of their annual performance assessment is also filed online. This is not the case with the PCS officers. While PC officers are required to provide property details in 5 years, annual entry is also done manually. At times, at the time of promotion, it is reported that the officers have a number of years of ACR pending. This makes it difficult to evaluate the functioning of the officer. It is also not known whether the officer tried to get admission or whether the assessor officer was not interested in granting admission. The ACR arrangements are online and the entire work will be clear. Sources said, the CM has also directed the PCS officers to make the ACR online like 'Sparrow', give entry within the stipulated time frame, and initiate arrangements to provide property details every year. For this, the appointment department will coordinate with nic and implement this arrangement. At the same time, many changes can come, and the work will be easy.
