Chairman Anurag Thakur loaded on film-maker of wrongly presenting history and hurting public emotions and values. He also asked whether director Sanjay Bhansali planned to release the film abroad without getting certification from CBFC. Mr. Anurag Thakur asked him to explain how he could think that the film could be released on December 1 when it was forwarded to the Central Board of film certification (CBFC) only on November 11. Chairman Anurag Thakur also said that according to Cinematography Act, the board can take 68 days before certifying a film After that parliamentary Chairman Mr. LK Advani said “‘He said the panel previously has enough on its plate and should not take up unrelated issues, .L K Advani said the chairperson Anurag Thakur,’” one of the members of the committee told The Hindu. in the meantime, Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali assured the panel that he will not release the film abroad till the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will give clear certification to him.
