Lockdown: CM Yogi made special arrangements for laborers

CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to make special arrangements on humanitarian basis for workers and workers walking on the borders of Uttar Pradesh during the lockdown to prevent the coronavirus. He has directed the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Director General of Police, Principal Secretary Transport and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister to make arrangements for food and water for such persons on humanitarian grounds and taking all health-related precautions, these people should be given safe places. 

For your information, let us tell you that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi that all such people going to the state of Bihar will be taken care of and these people will be sent safely to their destination. He also assured the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand state Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat that arrangements for food and preservation will be made for all the people of Uttarakhand.

Apart from this, in view of the lockdown, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after talking to the Chief Minister of Haryana State, Manohar Lal requested to make arrangements for lodging and food etc. for the residents of Uttar Pradesh in Haryana in their state. CM Yodi also directed that arrangements for food and security etc. should be ensured for pilgrims from other states like Gujarat etc., including Varanasi at various pilgrimage centers in the state.
