Big change regarding gas cylinders, definitely read this news

If you also use domestic gas cylinders, then there is good news for you. LPG gas cylinders with QR codes will soon be available across the country. In fact, the state-run oil company Indian Oil has started a unit code-based track and trace initiative for LPG cylinders. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave this information on Wednesday.

On the occasion of World LPG Week 2022, Hardeep Singh Puri said that a special label of QR code is being put on all 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinders. Under the unit code-based track, 20,000 LPG cylinders embedded with QR codes were issued in the first phase. This is a type of barcode, which can be read by a digital device. Puri informed that in the next 3 months, all 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders will be provided with a QR code.

Let us tell you that the goal of the government behind the installation of QR codes is to stop the theft of gas and provide security. Customers will be able to easily track the theft of cylinders through the QR code. Along with this, you will be able to audit the quality of the cylinder. Through this code, customers will get all the information related to the cylinder within minutes.
