LS polls 2019: India's new Swachh Bharat Abhiyan- ‘BJP-free India’, tweets Congress

New Delhi: After receiving a boost in the form of crucial victories in three Hindi heartland states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan earlier this week, the Congress party has already kicked off its 2019 campaign to oust the Bharatiya Janata Party from power at the Centre.

After receiving the massive win on Wednesday, the Congress party posted a tweet to declare its new ‘Clean India campaign’. The tweet which took a jibe on PM Modi led government read “India ka naya Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and showed a map of India highlighting the states where the Congress and the BJP are in power, respectively.

In the map the BJP-ruled states were highlighted in orange / saffron colour and Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh, where the party just registered the huge win, in blue colour.

The fresh Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is being seen as Congress' reply to the BJP's ‘Congress-mukt Bharat’ campaign, which aims to get rid of Congress governments from all states of India. The Congress’ campaign aims to offset the BJP’s and implies “a BJP-free India” in 2019.

Worth mention here the grand old party Congress campaign also aims to give the message to the BJP that it remains a frightening force and is very much in the battle for 2019 General Elections.
