Dehradun : M A Ganpati will take over from B S Sidhu as the fresh DGP of Uttarakhand from 1st May 2016.
According to the official sources, “The Centre provided its sign to the selection of Ganpati as the state police chief late last night”
A 1986 batch IPS officer, Ganpati has currently give back from delegation in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
The present Uttarakhand DGP B S Sidhu is retiring on April 30.
